Remember the 7th
"Remember the 7th" is a secondary message on each 1st Campaign bracelet. This secondary message became a part of the bracelet design before I fully understood what it meant. In fact, I thought that in my haste and excitement to begin this ministry as God had led me to, that I had possibly misunderstood and included something in error. The number 7 represents the biblical number of God's perfection, but while trying to figure out in my own mind what God was planning, I became discouraged and even considered discarding the first batch of bracelets in hopes of being completely obedient to God's will.
Then God woke me early one morning with the answer and made clear His intention for this secondary message. The 7th of every month will be a day of tribute through feasting and celebration for both God and His son, Jesus. It will be a day to lift up and glorify them both, strengthen the faith of His followers, and stir confusion among non-believers. "Why are they celebrating on the 7th of every month, and what could they possibly have to celebrate? There is sickness, disease, famine, poverty, hatred, war, and suffering everywhere! Don't they realize what is going on in the world around them?", will be on the tongues of non-believers.
As believers we strive to do the work of God, and we meet at least once a week to worship, give praise, and commune with other believers; but have we forgotten to celebrate our victory in Christ? Sadly, we complain about the same worldly problems as non-believers, forgetting that although we will not win every battle, we have already won the war through our victory in Christ! Beginning October 7th, 2015, and on the 7th of every month following, I truly believe God is leading us to lift up the name of Jesus and bring great glory and honor to them both through feasting and celebration!
To be faithful to God, I have delivered this message as it was given to me. May the Holy Spirit give peace and understanding to all who find this message as well as a special blessing to those who join in the celebration, and may it not be a snare or stumbling block, in Jesus' name I pray. AMEN!
